Testimonials from community supporters
Anja Wing, Chamber Director says; "The Leadership Mecosta program has been the premier leadership/volunteer development vehicle for businesses and individuals alike. The Bulldog fundraising project will not only enhance the area as a destination for visitors, but will ensure that the Leadership Mecosta program will continue to be an affordable means of providing educational opportunities for all."
Jack Batdorf, Chairman of the Pioneer Group says, “The Bulldog Project exemplifies what Big Rapids and Mecosta County is all about, it’s called teamwork! It shows what a group of community visionaries can do when they join Ferris State University and community artists together with a vibrant caring public in a win-win situation. This interactive art project will not only be fun, but will bring exposure to the area, and besides spotlighting the strong relationship between Ferris and Mecosta County, will give proceeds back to Artworks, the Youth Attention Center and to Leadership Mecosta.”
